Green aluminium surfaces for aerospace

A project financed by the Danish Agency for Science and Innovation.

The purpose of the project is to produce an overview of ”green” aluminium surfaces for the aerospace industry and to conduct a series of test attempts for the companies involved in specific “green” surface treatments.

The goal is to develop a database that the Danish industry delivering to the aerospace can use and see which companies provide specific surface treatments. The database should be based on collections of various aerospace standards for surface treatments.

Chosen surface treatments will be validated and experimental trails will reveal whether Danish surface treatment companies should and may offer these types surface treatments to the Danish aerospace industry.
